1. Senior Program Manager – Tamil Nadu
As the Senior Program Manager for Tamil Nadu, you will lead UMC’s efforts to strengthen safe, dignified, and well-managed working environments for sanitation workers across the state. You will work closely with the Government of Tamil Nadu to translate policy commitments into on-ground impact by overseeing programme implementation, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality delivery across cities. Your role will involve guiding strategic planning, mentoring state and city teams, driving data-informed decision-making, and building robust partnerships that advance the Sanitation Workers Development Scheme. Through your leadership, you will help shape inclusive state-wide systems that protect worker safety, enhance service delivery, and enable long-term improvements in urban sanitation governance.
2. Solid Waste Management Consultant (SBM-U) – Assam
As a Solid Waste Management Consultant, you will strengthen Assam’s urban sanitation systems by providing technical guidance, supporting project design and implementation, and building capacities across state and city teams. You will contribute to improving waste management services through SOP development, feasibility assessments, GIS-based mapping, and on-ground technical support under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban).
3. Program Coordinator/ Planner,
Bhubaneswar-Odisha
We are looking for a Program Coordinator/Planner to join our team in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, supporting city-level planning and development initiatives. The position involves leading and coordinating spatial and livelihood planning activities under state and national urban programmes. The role includes preparing local and city-level plans, integrating land use, mobility, and environmental strategies, and providing technical support to Urban Local Bodies and state departments. The Program Coordinator/Planner will also facilitate participatory planning, data analysis, and capacity-building efforts to strengthen inclusive and sustainable city management.
4. Finance Manager, Ahmedabad
As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial health and sustainability of the organisation by managing financial planning, monitoring, and reporting. They will ensure compliance with financial regulations, manage budgets, and support strategic decision-making to achieve organisational objectives.
